COVID-19 FAQ

Our Approach To Healing

Tower Wound Care Clinic has locations in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Santa Monica at St. John’s Hospital Medical Plaza where you can find Dr. Vincenti, and in West Hollywood, CA where you can find Dr. Brown. Dr. Aronowitz founded the Tower Wound Care Centers at Cedars-Sinai and Santa Monica to provide these advances in a specialty clinic with staff, facilities and doctors dedicated to serving the growing population of patients suffering from diabetic wounds, lower extremity ulcers, post-surgery wounds, traumatic wounds, radiation related and other difficult, non-healing wounds.

We are experts in the healing process and understand the factors which affect wound healing. Our philosophy is to nurture the normal wound healing process and bolster the natural tendency of the body to mend using a combination of attentive medical care and the latest proven techniques available for the treatment of problem wounds.

We begin with a thorough assessment of the local and systemic factors involved and design an individualized, comprehensive plan of care that brings you the most appropriate and effective treatments. We are able to provide for office visits as frequently as needed to control a worsening wound and to train the patient or caregiver for the wound at home.

Many patients with chronic and difficult open wounds that frustrate usual efforts at healing are eventually referred to the Tower Wound Care Clinic and our medically oriented plastic surgeons. In the past, many patients underwent highly invasive and complex surgery to close wounds. But developments in the emerging specialty field of wound care led to techniques and advanced topical dressing products that make surgery unnecessary for most of these wounds.
